From 93 North
take the Tobin Bridge (Route 1N) to
Route 16 East- Revere Beach Parkway / Lynn Directions
from Route 128
Take
128 North or South to 114 East (Exit
25A, Marblehead, and Salem). You will come into town on Lafayette Street. You will see a huge "Welcome to Marblehead" sign. Go through four sets of lights and you will be in the center of town From Routes 495, 93 or 95 please follow directions from Route 128 to Route 114. Directions By Sea Marblehead is a prominent land-outcropping between Gloucester and Boston (thus the "head"). It has typical New England ledges, rocks and Islands. Care should be taken to honor the well placed navigational marks unless you are thoroughly familiar with local waters. From the South, sail in a generally north-westerly direction on a course for the Red "4" Bell at the Outer Breakers off Great Pig Rocks. (42º 27.630' N, 070º 50.190 W). At the mark, turn to a course of 30º for 2.7 NM to the midpoint between Marblehead Rock and the RG Marblehead channel marker. Turn to a course of 329º for .61 NM and the center of the harbor entrance will be on your port side. From the South, sail in a generally north-westerly direction on a course for the Green "1" Whistle off Newcomb's Ledge. (42º 30.470 N, 070º 44.375 W). Turn to a course of 283º for 3.47 NM, honoring the channel markers, to the Marblehead Channel RG marker. At the mark, turn to a course of 310º for .85 NM and the middle of the Harbor entrance will be on your port side. If you have any questions,
